Discover the heart of Mendoza through a walking city tour designed to explore the city on foot, at a relaxed and friendly pace, combining history, culture and regional flavours.
This experience is ideal for travellers who want to explore Mendoza from the inside, walking through its most traditional streets, green spaces and corners with local identity, accompanied by a guide who connects past and present at every stop.
The tour begins at the iconic San Martín Library, our meeting point, from where we start a walk through historic sites such as Paseo La Alameda, the historic Tajamar Canal, and the Monument to Fray Luis Beltrán, a key figure in Argentina’s national history.
The walk continues to the classic Central Market, with free time to explore and enjoy the local atmosphere. We then visit San Martín Square and the Basilica of San Francisco, where the remains of General José de San Martín’s daughter rest.
The experience adds local flavours with a tasting of artisanal wine and Entre Dos alfajores at Pando, a traditional regional products shop, and ends on a sweet note with artisanal ice cream at the renowned Famiglia Perín ice cream shop. The tour finishes at Independencia Square, the true heart of the city.
