Aconcagua Provincial Park is one of the main natural attractions of the southern cone.
The Aconcagua Hill, is considered the highest in Los Andes (6962 meters above sea level), and is located entirely on Argentine soil; in the province of Mendoza.
It receives thousands of tourists from all over the world, who visit Mendoza between November and March, which is its main season. Many of these visitors yearn to conquer its summit, while others enjoy its imposing beauty, either from the viewpoint of the Laguna Horcones or from its main camp in Confluencia at 3200 meters above sea level, after a day trek.
