Overview

We will start our tour visiting the historic Benegas winery, where we will enjoy its emblematic wines accompanied by a picada of cold cuts.

Then, we will go to Ruca Malen, a very contemporary winery where we will be able to taste its wines while admiring an impressive view of the Andes Mountains.

To close with a flourish, we will go to the renowned Norton winery, where we will visit the largest wine cellar in South America and, at the end, we will share an exquisite four-course menu with food and wine pairing.

The building of Benegas Winery is one of the few relics of the old Mendoza, built in 1901 by the former Governor of Mendoza, Agustín Álvarez. Federico Benegas Lynch bought this winery in 1999, carrying out an arduous restoration work of 5 years, maintaining its original design, with adobe walls and cement basins, to which the new technology of cold and heat was incorporated. This original story is combined with perfect modern wines.

This is a contempora winery, that seeks to transmit their passion for wine through quality and diversity, from terroir to winemaking methods. Since 2020, they are a certified organic winery as they are very committed on caring for the land, seeking to apply techniques in the most sustainable way possible.

Norton winery is located only 20 minutes away from the city of Mendoza, where you can enjoy unforgettable moments in front of the imposing landscape of the Andes Mountains. They have the largest subway cellar in South America, with exclusive centenary vineyards, a historic and avant-garde winery that has been modernized under the highest quality standards, and emblematic gardens designed by the renowned international architect and landscaper, Carlos Thays.
