The "Public Houses" have existed since the Bronze Age. However, it wasn´t until the Romans arrived that the first inns appeared where travelers could obtain snacks, shelter and rest from their conquests. Later, after the end of the Second World War, in Europe they constructed "public houses" with the objective of providing refuge and food to those who lost almost everything in the war. As time passed, these inns were converted into restaurants and bars, serving as places to host different social meetings and events. The term "public house" was eventually abbreviated to the word "pub" and the food and drinks began to evolve to represent the different styles and flavours of the region, acquiring their own personal style.
