Along with the new millennium, the Spanish family Ortega Gil-Fournier purchased 286 hectares and built a modern winery at the foot of the Andes, in the town of La Consulta, Mendoza, Argentina.
In 2001 performed the first harvest; presenting on the market the lines Alfa Crux, B Crux and Urban Uco from Tempranillo blends. In the following harvests, Malbec, Syrah, Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontés varieties were also produced.
O Fournier is currently considered worldwide as one of the wineries that produce premium wines of Argentina. The tourism building, recently inaugurated, includes restaurant and private rooms for tastings.
