Descripción

We cross mountain paths ascending to 4380m. (Argentine Portillo) Crossing the Andes Mountains from East to West and thus cross to Chile through El Paso Portillo de Piuquenes. It is a historic road, being one of the six Sanmartinian routes, where they passed the columns of the Army of the Andes under General Don José de San Martín of being the route chosen by Charles Darwin in 1835 in its passage from Chile to Argentina.
